Hello

I am 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby, due dec 2nd.

I was hoping someone had experienced what i have been experiencing today - i am starting to get a little annoyed/worried.

This morning i started feeling as though i was having alot of movement quite low down in my stomach, i have felt this before but this kept up constantly for a couple of hours, almost as though there was a washing machine on in there!.

This afternoon i was walking around tescos when i suddenly started having sharp pains around my stomach which made it very uncomfortable to walk and felt as though i was having alot of pressure in my hips.
For the next couple of hours i had these pains on and off.
At the end it felt as though i could not bend forwards without having quite alot of pain.

Now i have a very "raw" feeling across my stomach and into my back, crampy and on and off painful.

I had stretching discomfort etc with my daughter but i dont remember anything quite as strong as this, especially so early on in my pregnancy.

does anyone else have this?
I am finding it hard not to panic but dont really want to go rushing off to the hospital if there is no need (I was there far too much with my daughter because of high blood pressure!)

thanks :)
sophie

sophie i would phone your midwife and get checked out.
I do get aches and pains but not at severe as you are describing.
Best to be safe than sorry and get an MOT done.

let us know how you get on. :)

I would phone your midwife aswell.
I keep getting the same thing as you from the sounds of it.
I phoned my midwife and all she could suggest was i put my feet up and take 2 paracetamol with a warm drink, and then phone her back in an hour..
It had eased off, so she said it sounded ok and thats all i could do.
I keep getting them but everything is fine.
I would phone your midwife like i did just to be sure though
