Cramping

Hello all!

I'm 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I have been experiencing some major cramping. On both sides sometimes and some I've noticed more on my left side. I have an appointment with my doctor on the 15th. I was told by the OBGYN nurse to keep the pain in check (if it gets worse, if there is bleeding ect...) Has anyone else experienced or is experiencing cramping like this? Or am I the minority? Also, any other turkey babies out there? I'm suppose to be due around Thanksgiving.

I had extreme cramps from 3 weeks until 9 weeks. I was sure I would miscarry but the cramping never turned into anything. The cramps calmed down after 9 weeks but I still had cramping throughout the entire pregnancy. It can be totally normal x

I've gad quite bad cramping which my doc has pt down to trapped wind and constipation (how glam) as long as I stay on top of that (fibre and peppermint tea etc) its no where near as bad. Maybe it's something like that?

I’m 5 weeks 5 days and I’ve had cramping! Last night it even woke me up.

I’ve also had two MCs and had no cramping just pain from the mc. I think it’s normal. Xxx

Thank you so much for the replies! I'm glad I'm not alone. Yesterday, I had so much pressure and pulling down there I thought for sure something was going to burst. It passed but goodness it was uncomfortable!

It's absolutely normal. I had awful cramping from start and it only started to ease off around 9 weeks. It stopped around 11 weeks. Dont worry after that it's round ligament pain and all sorts of stretching pains. I'm 23+6 now and am getting more hip pain than anything at this stage.

Cramping is normal I have been having period type cramps too and had them with my other 2 pregnancies too. Really bad with my 2nd!
