Cramping pain not period related

Hi I had my baby boy 19 weeks ago and have my period finally came back on 17th nov which lasted as normal 7days and my cycles used to be 28 days, anyway I noticed yesterday that I was getting period like cramping which started on my left side which then moved all over around lower abdomen and and lower down. I thought maybe ovulation but is day 20 not too late for that? Just wondering if maybe that's normal after pregnancy to ovulate late maybe. I don't normally get bad cramping tho when I ovulate and it was bad enough I had to take painkillers for it. If anyone has experienced same thing let me know thanks
