cramping after coming off the pill

Hi all

I came off the pill on 13th July and had my period. Since Wednesday i've been experiencing cramping. The pain is just like the cramping you get when you're about to have your period.

Does anyone know if this kind of pain is normal ater coming off the pill? I'm just wondering how long this will last for.

Hey - it could be ovulation? I would say cramping is normal I had loadsa things when I stopped taking the pill but obviously if its really bad got to the doctors. I wasnt aware that I could get cramping feelings when ovulating coz I was on the pill for so long. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Welcome to the forum hun, I had cramping on and off for weeks after coming off the pill, still have it occasionally now, it takes a while for the hormones to get back to their normal balance, so expect lots of weird and wonderfuls at any time of the month ... bloating... cramps.. backache.. spots....wind... isnt it great being a woman lol
