As the title says really. Just wondering when your LO's cradle cap cleared up? Bethan's 4 months now and it's still pretty flaky

Stanley's didn't clear up on its own. I had to do two sessions of the following:

Put some olive oil on babies head, leave for half hour and then rinse and gentle rub. It will come off and is a lot cheaper and more natural than those shampoos you can buy! Stanley's was really bad and only took two tries xxx

My son had it terrible we tried loads of shampoos that were rubbish in the end it was so thick and yellow I got olive oil and left it for half an house gave it a scrub with a baby hair brush and washed - took 5 goes but better than months of shampoos that didn't work x

Will give it a go, thanks! I'm currently using coconut oil which makes her smell lovely but is not quite doing the job!

I need time invest in a baby hair brush, any recommendations?

Also can I use the olive oil I've got in my kitchen?

Thanks xxx

I'm in the same boat.

I use Dentinox and coconut oil, it's looking a lot better but still there. I will try the olive oil. I have extra virgin that we use for cooking and I think that's fine to use on bub?

I got a Tommy Tippee set that has a baby brush in it!

It's so funny to use the brush as James is a little baldy, so I am brushing head

I'm going to give it a go, she's got her photos next Tues so am trying to clear her skin up as much as possible... she's a bit spotty as well bless her

You can pick up little Tommee tippee sofy brushes in most chemists. We have this one http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/to...oogle&utm_medium=Product&utm_campaign=Product.
After the bath I sit and give his hair a thorough brush and lots of it comes off. It can seem like it's getting worse while you are doing it but once it has dried it looks tons better. We had to give it a few goes but it has almost completely gone now, apart from one little patch at the back (which I am going to tackle today ).

I bought the brush and used olive oil and it hasn't made any difference :(

Went to the docs today and got prescribed ketopine shampoo so will see if that helps. Bethan's starting to get irritated by it and is scratching her head making it bleed.

Amelie had cc and we tried dentinox and oil etc. I eventually bought Burt's bees baby shampoo and in a couple of weeks completely cleared up by itself without using oil or anything else :)

I will certainly give it a go if this other stuff doesn't work. Thanks x
