Macy is nearly 7months.
I have been giving her cows milk with her ready break. Is that right or wrong.
Should I make up her formula milk and give it with that?

I do the same too. I started doing it like you from when H turned 7 months old. X

Nope you're doing it right :) I use boiled water though as Sophie gets Sicky from cows milk so me and HV agreed to wait till a year to even put it in her porridge xx

after 6 months its ok to use milk to cook with and on cereal, 12 months they can have it as a drink

i was going to ask the same thing as ive herd differet views.

When i spoke to my HV she said use full fat butter, milk anything like that in cooking so i suppse that would be ok in porridge/ready brek.

I tried making it with formula and it went into a glue type consistency and the smell was disgusting!! lol x

My health visitor was talking about this just this morning. She said from 6 months cows milk can be used to make up cereal etc but still use breast/formula for drinking. Then cows milk (blue top) can be given to drink from 12 months old.
