They have to at least give you a form. Writing down your things though wont be enough, they need evidence like your jsa / income support award letters, 5 weeks consecutive payslips / 2 weeks recent consecutive bank statements. You need to take in the originals, not copys and they will copy them there. You can ask to speak to someone else as this person was obviously incompetant.

I had a big folder with proof of EVERYTHING, she didn't want to know, I took my award letters, OH's pay slips, and proof of outgoings, thats why I'm so bl**dy mad- took me ages to sort all that out!!!

Gone to cit advice now and they are dealing with it for me!!! The council round here don't care unless you're a single parent or druggy
