i am 40 weeks today. in the night i kept waking with period type pains but in my back beacuse i was so tierd i managed to keep going back to sleep. this morning i woke up at about 7 with them still its more on 1 side of my back and its constant but every now and again it gets more intense. also every now and again my belly keeps going hard but isnt painfull it feels like some1 is blowing it up with air? i think iv been loosing my mucus plug in bits over the last few days. could this be the start of labour?

they might be the start hun.. mine went off for a little bit before starting back up. Try and be as active as possible. Go for a walk and they might start again.. Good luck

I would guess that it's the start of things babes.

I have been getting period pains and bad BH since yesterday afternoon. I even thought about calling the labour ward at one point.

It all went quiet last night and I managed to get some sleep, but it has all started up again today.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for us both. xxx
