.............dropped and started to engaged???

Ive been in agony all weekend, had period type cramps for the last few days on and off and today my lump is looking so much further down so was wondering if the pain this weekend could be put down to the baby engaging?

Curious.....not sure when they engage tho....its been head down now for nearly 6 weeks so suppose its possible but just thought Id ask xxx

i was having a heavy pressure down there over the weekend and was tellign my mum and she said it sounds like he was engaged.... although now the weight has been lifted.... im kinds glad...... felt so uncomfortable and like i needed to pee every 5 mins!

Not sure about u tho.... i didnt really have any period like pains... :/

Hey Setdse.....ohhhh you think we might have moved onto the next level?? lol

Well little legs has been going crazy over the weekend and really active so Im hoping so!!

Apparently period like pains can be something to do with the cervix softening too so who knows!!! Im at hosp on wed so I will ask and see what the consultant or MW says lol!!

Exciting tho xxx

indeed it does look like were moving forwards! and all my kicks seem to be up really high over the last week so i think he may have turned since my midwife as she never said anything about position he was in...

Ohhhh isnt it exciting!

Yeah LL been kicking up really high thats how I suspected it was head down a few weeks ago with the kicks being in a different place...eeeee!!!

Well not long now ehh.... I know at the latest LL is going to be here by the 9th March as that takes me to 38 weeks but they have said anywhere from 36ish so could be as little as two weeks or so.....cant wait to see what were having....

I had period type pains the other week & could also feel movements really low down as if baby was engaged & turning head side to side....I guessed that the head was down in that position & stretched ligaments etc with its head. Only lasted a couple days.... but doubt it stayed engaged for very long as its shifted positions several times since then :S

Oh its hard to tell isnt it loops......well LL has been head down for weeks now so Im hoping at some point soon if it hasnt already, that it will start to engage and get the ball rolling so to speak lol!! xxx
