position of baby

Just wondering where can you all feel your babies and do they seem to move position in your uterus a lot?

At my 36 week appointment baby was head down, not engaged and all over to right side which it seems to have been for weeks.

This a.m i could feel baby all down left side and then this afternoon on the right again! Is this usual for them to move around? i know that if i still haben't started to engage then they are "free"

I think mine stays head down all the time, but where his back is varies from day to day and even within the same day.

Sometimes I feel it all down the left side and sometimes all down the right. I suppose it's quite a little movement to swing their backs round but to turn completely head to toe is much more difficult.

I can feel mine at both sides at the same time - I'm still crap at trying to work out what's a bum, leg, arm etc. Will ask MW tomorrow to see. I know mine is usually curled up quite a bit x
