Ok, so had quite a shock this morning... and just about feeling better enough to sit here and write this.

I was coming down the stairs, as per usual (no faster or anything) and somehow managed to slip and missed the last three steps and landed on my bum. :-( Had half a glass of water in my hand which went flying and nearly knocked my OH half out! :-(

Why me?

What did I do? Stay in bed an hour longer than I should have... so what?

I'm sure everything is ok, as little one has been kicking/punching me since the slight fall, although she seems to be quieting down now, which is perfectly normal for this time of day I have noticed.

I feel so clumsy. OH was great though. I've never seen him move so fast to be at my side! Giving me a hug and helping me up off the floor.

No real point to this thread as such I'm sorry... just thought i'd share my misfortune with you all... :wall2:

Although if anyone else has experienced similar, would be nice to hear that everything will be ok... ;-) It was just three steps... god, I'm such a worrier...:shakehead: xxx

Oh no hope you feeling ok? im really clumsy i fell over but instead of falling on my tummy i almost pushed myself onto the wall thus then taking with me my hubbies pride and joy (Guitar worth well over £1000!!) only a few scratches but he not bothered aslong as peanut ok woopsie!! xxx hope your bum not too sore xx

aaawww you poor thing! Yeah, I am ok now thankfully. Was more shock than anything and I'm glad I landed on my bum and not on my tummy! Good that your hubby reacted in the way he did! I would have had a major fight if that was my OH and he was more concerned about the guitar than the baby lol ;-) x

Sure it will be fine with baby, like you said lots of movement, and don't worry it's not you, I think pregnancy really throws your balance out tho, specially if you have a bigger bump, I only have a small bump but I have gotten clumsy and ankle suddenly giving way so I suddenly disapear ! hand rails please

aaawww JJ, pregnancy is really throwing everything out of balance at the moment! and yes, from now on, I shall be using the rail! ;-) xx

I fell down the stairs at 16 weeks. I was half way down and slipped on my son's shoe. I shit myself. Landed on my coccyx and was in agony for weeks after! Apart from that and the bruises on my arms the baby was fine.

And as luck would have it a week later i fell up my garden steps, falling into the corner of the wall hurting my shin and my boob! Ouch!

Clumsiness at its best eh? lol
