Just wondered if everyone is having all three or some, or even just the one!
I was going to get a Moses basket and stand for the early weeks, but my friend has just given me a crib, so now wondering if getting a moses basket is a bit pointless, and I should just get a cot/cotbed now?
xx

Iv got a cot, however also being given a moses basket which i think is kinda better so i can just put it in living room or where ever i go and keep baby in its cot at night.. well thats the plan ha xxxx

Think I will use a moses basket to start then a bed cot from about 5 months on,cribs are nice but I will only use for a few months and it takes a lot of room to store once you're done with it .I would defo get a moses basket anyhow as you can carry it from one room to another or the garden and have it close to you all day long..

i have all 3  but only cos my nan gave me a crib which is in my living room, moses basket its by my bed and cot is put up but as soon as shes outgrown the moses basket she will be in the cot. the crib has actually proven very handy for during the day nap times! in the evening i put her upstairs without me, but during the day its easier to have her downstairs. so if i were you id get the basket too, at least you can have beds in different locations!! x

brilliant, thanks guys, for all your replies.
All 3 it is then, these things don't come cheap do they :) the babies as well, the amount of things they are needing is unbelievable, and they are so tiny!
Crib for downstairs, cot upstairs and moses basket for wherever :)
xx

the best part with the moses basket is feeding in the night (i breasfeed). she is right up against my bed in the moses basket so i dont have to get up to pick her up, literally grab her, lie back down on my side with her next to me, feed her, and plonk straight back in moses basket. easiest nights ever believe me! when shes a little older and fingers crossed sleeping through, she can go in the cot. that way i dont have to get up to feed her. x

I have a moses basket and mum and Step dad are buying a cotbed for me. My friend said she used to keep the moses basket in the living room, then carry it through to their room and put the moses basket in the cot so the baby was used to seeing the cot around her. Anyone else tried this?

Oh and Flexi, how do you find leaving her upstairs when you're downstairs? I'll probably be doing that too, don't really want her down here in the evening whenI'm watching TV, want to do that day and night routine.

x
