Cot mattresses

There are so many available and at such a varying price range! (although most appear to be around the £50 price mark)

Are any better than others?
Should I be looking at any particular features for it to have?
Does it hugely matter or are they all so similar that they're practically the same??

Im hoping to order it this weekend
Will likely buy from Amazon or Argos just for ease but any recommendations welcome!

I went for a breathable hypoallergenic 1 from argos its a foam 1 most seem to have the same features ours was 39.99 I think its obaby as far as I can remember x

Personally I prefer foam ones to sprung ones as they are comfier but apart from that I don't have a preference x

I got ours from John Lewis for about £80, it is a foam one. There were a few cheaper ones but I figured that baby would be using it for a good few years until he outgrows the cot, so better to spend a little extra. It came with a waterproof cover too which was handy!

We went for a mamas and papas pocket spring one as we bought the furniture from there. It was 80 reduced from 100 but that was ages ago
