F is 7 weeks, and when he is awake he is unsettled constantly unless he is feeding. I just don't know whats up with him? Is he always hungry, am I overfeeding him or is it something else? Anyone else have this? What did you do? It is getting me down, especially as I can hardly spend any time playing with my toddler as F is either feeding or I'm trying to settle him X

Don't know if I've put this in the right section

What are his naps like? I was inclined to blame T's unsettleness and everything really on B'feeding but actually I wasn't putting her down for a nap every 90 mins and the difference in her is amazing!

Have you tried a dummy to see if he settles? DS was the same and now he will take a dummy and settle. Has he always been the unsettled or is it a new thing?

He sleeps a lot! I was actually worried that he was sleeping too much, but when he is awake he is crying.

I tried him with a dummy, he loved it for a few days but now he won't take it :(. He has always been unsettled that's why I'm sort of linking it to feeding.

Could be reflux - remember they don't always vomit, does propping him up any help?? Silent reflux could mean he's feeding extra to try help soothe the acid, but then it makes LOs tummy too full and more uncomfy - vicious circle

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

I dont think its colic because its constant, i have already tried colief which makes no difference. I didn't think of silent reflux, when I hold him up it does help now that you mention it, think I will speak to my hv about if it could be that. Thank you all xxx

Do you put get down for a nap awake or get her to sleep first? X

I could have wrote this, our 6wk old is the same. He rarely settles for a sleep in the day unless he sleeps on one of us which isn't a habit we really want to get into. Tried Colief, tried dummy and nothing seems to work.

At night we leave her to it and she quite happily kicks and coos herself to sleep, during the day I help her to sleep - either in sling, baby carrier, rock her, walk etc
