My baby is 11 weeks tomorrow and is still constantly feeding! I could understand it during the first few weeks but now I'm just getting tired of breastfeeding all day! I can feed her for an hour and then less than an hour later she's crying again asking for more food! I can't tell whether she's just not taking much and wanting more quite quickly afterwards or whether my milk isn't satisfying her. However she sleeps for about 7 hours through the night so she must get enough during the evening which can take up to 2 hours.
It makes me feel bad but the constant feeding makes me wish that I didn't breastfeed at all. Is it worth getting her on formula?

Hi, I had to stop breastfeeding at 8 weeks as my son had a milk protein allergy and was presrcibed a special formula by the consultant. Though I wanted to breastfeed at first I have to admit I did find that there was no break, if I had a rough night I had to go on because I fed my son. When he was on bottles suddenly I was able to rest more my husband and family could take him but also I found I enjoyed my son more, I think mainly he was so ill and uncomfortable when I breastfed him it was a relief to not be doing it anymore. You should do what you feel comfortable with and what works for you, baby will be fine either way. Xx
