Hi All

sorry for TMI but suffering really badly with this at the moment and having catargh on the back of my throat is making me heave especially in the mornings - yuck! Anybody got any pregnancy friendly suggestions for easing congestion? :x :x

My mum used to swear by putting boiling water in a bowl with a bit of olbas oil, and breathing in the steam with a towel over your head and the bowl. Really clears out your tubes. If you don't want to use olbas even just the steam on its own should work.

Hope you feel better soon.

You poor thing, I can sympathize, I'm just getting over a 2 week cold and it was pants and boy did I let everyone know! Large amounts of Olbus oil as Kate said, I put it on my pillow on the top corner at bedtime and that Airwaves chewing gum really really helped during the day. If you've got pains too then paracetamol is ok, I had honey and lemon for my throat and nicked some of my son's Vicks Vapour rub at bedtime too. I totally stank of menthol for a fortnight but it was better than nothing!

Hope you feel better soon
