Confused! How long after mc til you ovulate?

So I'm hoping I'll still ovulate this cycle because we'd both like to try again straight away!
I'm not really sure what day is cd1 because of the mc.. so wasn't really sure when I should start using opks!

Did one today because they're only cheapies so why not!! and it's a positive.
Not sure if its ovulation or leftover hcg but my hcg levels were only 320 on Saturday (they dropped from over 1000 in just 48 hours) so really didn't think a opk would still pick it up as another 48 hours has passed..
Wish my cheapie pregnancy tests were here so I could know for sure grr..!

For anyone that has experienced mc, how long was it before you ov? or did you skip ov altogether?

I'm sorry to hear about your mc, it's awful. I think you count the first day of proper bleeding as cd1. It was a while ago since I had mine so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure we treated it like a normal cycle. I think your ov test is probs showing positive because of the hcg levels in your system but def do a pregnancy test when they arrive to be sure. Sorry I'm not much help but me and oh started trying again straight after our chemical and fell pregnant again so you never know! Try and keep positive lovely it will happen x

Hmm I'm not sure on cd1 at all then! Maybe weds or tues.. I'll just have to wait for these tests to arrive and see what's going on!

Where your not sure I would probs keep doing pregnancy tests till they say negative and then do your opks everyday till you get a positive. At least that way you definitely won't miss your time x

Just gotta wait for the cheapies to get here, not throwing away more money on better tests!

OPKs won't detect HGC levels. Only a pregnancy test will show that.

OPKs test for LH - Luteinising Hormone.

I MC'd four days after a positive test the cycle prior to falling pregnant with DS and the same thing happened to my Mum when she fell pregnant with me so it's certainly not impossible to ovulate about 14-21 days after a MC.

yeah I'm not sure some say they do some say they don't :/
I did get a positive opk the day before my positive prg test though!

It's only been at least 5 or 6 days since the bleeding started so I'm just not sure I'd ovulate yet? But who knows really!
