Conflicting Due Dates....

...have any of you mums had a significantly different due date after your scan etc? which did you give birth nearest too...?



my LMP due date is today, my 12 week scan said 22nd jan, but 3 subsequent scans one at 16 weeks one at 22 weeks and one at 29 weeks said i was due 15th january.


would you go off ur 12 week scan? ur LMP scan? or the scan whcih gave consistantly the same date?

i'd say the most consistant date.. but i dont really know

my scans only put me 2 days ahead of what i thought

i would go by the 12 week scan. i was told this after my 20 week scan showed me being behind.
as it could just be a faster growing baby just because its big wouldnt mean its as developed.

I would go off the 12 week scan to as thats when they are most accurtate.
I'm sure there are lots of people who would say that it was wrong for them but i asked the sonographer once and she said they were accurate within 3 days either way. I'd much rather go off my LMP cos that means i would be due on the 24th and not the 29th. Never mind.

with mine its such a massive difference from my LMP-DD to my 12wk-DD its erm, 18days!!!! lol


im just hoping that all my niggles are the start... if not ill still be here whinging to u lot in 3 weeks hahah

I can totally relate to being sick of being pregnant hun! Its worth it in the end i promise lol.

Id go by the 12 week scan too.

i was originally due 15th jan from my LMP, yet when i went for scan they put me back to 12th feb, but ill let you know when i have baby as im 300% sure of my dates as i was plotting on a BBT chart

hey hunnie...i would go with your 12 week date as dionne said apparantly that's more precise so they say because up until 24 weeks all babies grow at the same rate, its only after that our babies start to gain their own weight...that's what the sonographer lady told me anyway....!!!!!

By the way hun, there was four weeks difference between my LMP dates and my scan date...when i went for my scan i thought i was 21 weeks and they put me back to 17 weeks or something like that...i thought i was due 22 aug...they said 22 sept but when she arrived she was really really dry which is supposed to be a sign of them been overdue....i guess they just come when they are ready....hope it happens for you soon hun...xxx

I was never given different dates at my scans but from my edd (the one doc told me and the scans) i was 2 days early
