only 2 weeks till my contraceptive injection runs out, i have only been on it since august will this make any difference to how long i will need to wait? My daughter is 3 and i was on the injection for a few months after i had her before switching to cerezette which i then switched back on the injection due to cerezetter making me bleed for 3 weeks at a time then not at all for months. this fortnight is dragging so much!!

Hi, have you had any bleeding whilst on the injection? I was on it for nearly two years, no bleeding or spotting at all, came off it in september last year and only just had my first period (started yesterday!). All I'd say is that it works differently on different people. I hope you don't have to wait as long as I did, good luck.
Hi thanks for the reply, came off end of march first period beginning of September next bleed was last week so not regular yet been trying 8 months in total but suppose with periods just starting again the trying starts now!
