Colds and coughs..

My LO has a cold and a little chesty cough, but to be honest his nose is bothering him far more. Its not really blocked but more snotty and runny, he's even making bubbles through it Im wondering if saline drops are only for blocked noses as he is still snorting and becoming fretful on the breast trying to feed??? Is there anything else I could be giving him? He has a weighing app tomorrow morning too,so I'll get him looked at then.

My poor babe has had a rotten cold & cough and I phoned the docs, visited the pharmacist & also spoke to the community nursery nurse (neurotic? moi?!) who all pretty much said use Calpol & Saline Drops as nothing else will really help. I use Nasosal drops which you can buy off the shelf although the doc prescribed them for us so we got them free
It's horrible though isn't it - although I think it's worse for us than them!
