|Cold and cough what to give??

Bethany has had a cold for about 3-4 weeks now, last night she was really bad and hardly slept we've been usin vapour rub and a vaporiser in her room. but doesnt seem to be doing much. What else can i give her i have rung the docs but they cant fit her in until wed????

we've got the same problem. i've been giving calpol and ibuprofen on an arbitrary basis... let me know if you find a magic cure!

Nasosal drops can help clear the nostrils. You can get them quite easily. I've just stocked up because Evie has an awful cold at the minute. Poor little mite is really struggling...she hasn't properly slept for 2 nights

karvol is really good and they are snuffy at night its cheap aswell just break the capsul and put it on a muslin close to them they also do a plug-in

Have you tried raising the end of the cot to help her breath?

I use snufflebabe - menthol rub stuff. I put it on Finlays chest or on a muslin in the cot. Helps a lot

Apart from that I occasionally give him Calpol

Its horrible to see them suffer
