Hi ladies

We've been doing a rough bedtime routine now for a few weeks (lg is 11.5 weeks) of bath at 7, pjs then feed. However, she often cluster feeds then til about 9, and I put her to bed then and she sleeps til 4 or 5am.

My friends with ff babies do their last feed at 7:30ish then put their babies to bed upstairs, obv I can't do this yet as cluster feeding.

Just wondered if there's something more I should be doing at bedtime? Will the cluster feeding just end eventually and she'll go to sleep earlier, should I just follow her lead, or do I need to be helping her along?

FTM if you hadn't noticed! Lol! Xx

SR seems to be finally stopping cluster feeding at the moment at a week and a half ahead of you. He's also started getting really tired in the evenings so we've started putting him down when he shows signs the last 2 nights.

No real advice as it's not long enough to know if it works, but we've just been following his lead and that seems to be working for us

Sounds like you have a good routine already. My little one stopped cluster feeding in evenings at 8 weeks and has just gradually started sleeping earlier (now about 9am rather than 10-11pm). I just follow his lead xx

Thanks guys.

Do you put your babies down awake or do you make sure they're asleep first? My lg doesn't self settle to sleep, except when she wakes herself up in the night.

Defo not up for any crying it out or anything yet so planning on carrying on as we are for now, but wondered heat others do? Xx

SR goes down awake but he has done since day 1 so I'm not sure that's much help
