Is there any general concensus on this?

I think I have bought too much Little baby stuff (upto 6lb) and not enough 0-3 months booo bad mummy...I didn;t mean to get that much but just unpacked everything to put it away and eek...

When is to much enough??

I think I will be adding be sensible when baby clothes shopping to my list for next months purchases!!!

If you have kept receipts you could change some of the stuff for 0-3 months. My friend told me not to buy too much newborn/tiny baby clothes as your baby could be born too big to fit in them and if they do fit they probably won't for long. x

We've not got enough! I'm going to try and pick up some more bits but looking at what we have it's just babygrows and no actual outfits. However until bambino is born it's a bit tricky as we are team yellow. I am taking one set back as I bought (tiny baby upto 5lb) instead of newborn. Must buy some more vests too. x

I only own 1 boys outfit and 1 girls outfit and then one funny babygrow for upto 6 months.

I have heard you don't need a lot of newborn stuff too - better to roll up sleeves on big things that last, but you def want a couple of newy things

U will mostly want vests and sleepsuits from newborn and 0-3 as baby will mostly be in those. You may need a few outfits but for the first few weeks baby will be in sleepsuits as they r more comfy. I have a few vests and sleepsuits in newborn, and only 2 or 3 outfits just in case we need them. I have more outfits in 0-3 as they will fit for longer and we will be out and about so I won't want him out in his pj's! Lol!

i only have three sleepsuit up to 7.5lb and that was only because next advertise they tiny stuff as first size and newborn up to 1 month...

3 sleepsuits tiny baby
12 sleepsuits newborn
12 vests newborn
9 sleepsuits 0-3
9 vests 0-3
2 x 0-3 outfits
1 coat
2 cardys 1 newborn 1 0-3
hats, socks and mittens

and thats it although i have learnt from experience not to go overboard but its ur first baby and totally understandable to buy too much although they can go through quite a few sleepsuits and vests in a day, so best to have too much rather than not enough xxxxxx

I haven't even looked at tiny baby stuff coz I doubt ill be lucky for a less then 6 pounder.
Have got all 0to3 months that goes up to 10lbs from matalan or 11or12lbs from debenhams and asda.
If I'm lukcy to have a small baby well have to get a few things. -m going for 14 vests, 7 sleepsuits and a prob 7 to 14 outfits but they will last I'm sure x

So far I have got:

1 Newborn Outfit
12 0-1 M Sleep suits
7 0-1 M Vests
7 0-1 M Short Sleeve suits
2 Hats
10 Pairs of socks

We are team yellow so I don't think we will be buying that much more to be honnest.... I know it sounds crazy but I want to wait until Baba is here so we know what type of character he/she is xx

i only bought the tiny baby sleep suits coz they said first size on them and they were in the sale at next, it was only when i was sorting out what i had actualy bought i thought they looked small so checked the weight and it said 7.5lb...doubt they will fit as my last baby was 7lb 10oz but i got them now, and i can always pass them on xx

but what u have should last and have u bought no new born at all?? as i would buy just a couple as they do go up to 9lb just incase xx

Ill see what they estimate my baby to be nearer the time but i think ill stick with what ive got its all 0-3 months...x

I have only got 6 newborn vests and 3 newborn baby grows and a hat!

Don't like any of the neutral clothes do just going to buy 7 sleep suits and some more plain vests (no one sees those!) and that's it, then when baby is here we can go shopping for some coloured stuff
