Hello, I took clomid 50 mgday 5-9 of my cycle. And got a +ve OPK today which is day 16 of my cycle . I am extremely bloated and having cramps. What might be the reason for this ?
Another question is when can I test for pregnancy? Is it ten days after the positive OPK? Thank you.

These are normal side affects from clomid. Your period is normally due around 15 days after a positive opk so I would wait until then to test. Good luck

When i took clomid i took it on a night time before going to bed, then i slept through the worse of the side effects. Bloating and cramps are the milder side effects of the clomid, the cramps could actually be because your ovulating. I use to get awful cramps when a follicle was bursting/getting ready to burst. As for testing for pregnancy, as sugariris has said, normally after taking clomid a period will begin around 14/15 days after ovulation. So if i was you i'd be looking to test around the 3rd May.
