Clomid after a mmc???

Hey everyone,

im just wondering if there has been anybody on here that's had either a mc or mmc and been started back on clomid? if so has anyone conceived again on clomid?

I was on round 2 of 100mg of clomid that's when I got my BFP but sadly had a mmc at 5 weeks. I am due to start back on clomid when ive had my 1st af, originally the hospital said I would get another 3 rounds of the 100mg but when I phoned to check when to get it they said I would only get I more try as I was already on 2nd round I don't think they know anything in there!!!!

So im just wondering if their is any ladies out there that can give me some of their stories if they were put back on clomid and what happened?

Hi, sorry again for your loss. I can't remember any members on here who have had a mc after clomid. Remind me, do you have pcos?

Can they try you on letrozole instead if clomid? Reason I ask is that clomid makes your lining thin - it did that to me and if it had helped me to conceive m not it would have held as my lining was so thin. It's maybe something to consider and see if they will measure your lining to check?

My wife and I had 1 MC in 2012 and 1 MMC 2014 both at 6 weeks. She had a D&C in January. We went private with my work to avoid the 26week NHS waiting list and the doctor put her on 50mg of Clomid, we waited a month for her period and give her a chance to recover before taking it. We went for our 8 week scan on the 6th of May, we're not only pregnant, but we're expecting twins. We were given 400mg progesterone pessaries which she took with Clomid from day 1.

We know nothing is certain, but the scan showed everything it should have and it was a blessing to see 2 heartbeats. We are due our 12 week scan on 6th of June and we will be praying everyday.
