Clicking noise from bump

Please tell me some of you other ladies get this??

It's like the sound of knuckles cracking or flicking your nails against one another
Its definitely coming from my bump - not me!
And its not just me that hears it either

Its giving me the heebyjeebies!!

Could it maybe be ligaments stretching and creaking??

Im not moving at all
And its pretty loud
Baby is moving inside when it happens
I can only think its coming from him cos i dont feel a thing? X

It could still be things stretching even if you're not moving - there's lots going on in there that your body needs to accommodate. Maybe mention at your next midwife appointment if you're still worried? xx

Just creeped out by the sound

Jackson used to pop and click all the time, some times Id feel him suddenly move and click.

MW says its just from being cramped and their wee bones clicking n stretching.

Nothing to worry about, I didnt like the noise either.

Between hiccuping and clicking my bump was never still or quiet

I hear loads of strange noises from my bump. I often hear a sound like popping bubble wrap.

Yepp, I used to think it sounded like you know when your in a bath and your head is under the water and you hear a bone click - its almost like a high pitched click?

Baby is body popping in there.

Lol I had this with Blake. The first time it happened, I was searching my entire lounge for a frog haha. I don't know what it was though, I just assumed it was my digestive system

She had to wear a Pavlik harness from 6 weeks to 13 weeks. It wasn't great but I forget it even happened now. Lots of babies have clicky hips and don't need treatment though, so don't panic, just make sure you get it checked out.

Clicking is normal in pg and doesn't always mean hip dysplasia, as Sprout said. It's baby moving and stretching their joints that makes the clicking noise, just like us clicking when we move or stretch sometimes
