Clearblue tests driving me crazy!

Hi ladies,

Has anyone had bad experiences with the Clearblue week indicator tests? I did a test around 16dpo and it said 2-3 weeks, did another one yesterday morning ( 22dpo ) with FMU and it came back 2-3 weeks still. This was just before I receive my beta blood test I did 21dpo which read about 2500 so surely it must have been way above that on 22dpo and I am over 5 weeks now?

Your betas look really good and they are much more accurate xx I had similar worries re these tests at 6 weeks and a lot of people said they were inaccurate. I would just focus on your bloods which look great and stop using these tests. When is ur scan? It's a worrying time Hun I know and u r desperate for reassurance! If u need to give it another week and then try again xx

So yours read 2-3 weeks late as well? I will definitely stop using these if they are inaccurate! Scan in a 1,5 weeks I think.. When is the earliest they can check so all ok? I will try to relax but until they confirm there is a heartbeat its difficult!!

I was just the same!! Yes I got 2-3 and I was over 6 weeks but it was afternoon urine so it does vary depending on how dilute your urine is etc. we were 6 weeks and 4 days and had a heartbeat, I think about 6 weeks is the earliest. Not too long now Hun! U will feel soooo much better after u see the heartbeat

They only claim to be accurate for weeks within +/-5 days, so 22dpo could easily still get a 2-3 week result. If you're worried, leave it a few more days before testing again, but otherwise just try to enjoy your bfp!

Thanks! I did test early morning when urine is not diluted but still 2-3 .. I got a good BETA the day before though doubling more than 48 hours so will go with that . Wont take any more tests until scan now.

I still have OHSS symptoms. Got it when I got pregnant and was quite bad last week. Gained over 3 kg, extremely bloated and feeling sick.. Not bad enough so they had to drain me but very uncomfortable last week and still very swollen.. Have sick leave this week as well.

Otherwise my boobs are a little sore, but that can also be the cyclogest right? No other symptoms.

They are keeping close track on my TSH values as well since they normally are on the high side of the range. A month before IVF it was 3,5, they got it down very low just before transfer which was good but last week it was up to 3,5 again even though I take the same meds so think pregnancy raises the value. They have increased the dose slightly.

Oh Hun are u still suffering! It's probably hiding some symptoms then!

Yeah I think the cyclogest can cause that x my boobs are only a tiny bit sore now!

Try to enjoy it Hun I know it's easier said than done but if this is it then don't miss out on the excitement xx can't wait to see your scan pic

Thanks . I still have some OHSS but much better now after almost 2 weeks. Can walk and sleep much better but get really tired. Will try to go back to work next week though.

What symptoms did you have at 5-6 weeks? How many blood tests did you do before scan to check beta?

My scan is the 27th next week! I am seriously scared.. what is they cant find anything!!! Need to stop freaking out!
