Clearblue Peak but no EWCM

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I'm so confused!
This is my second month trying..


So I used the clearblue advanced digital OPK and after 4 days of the flashing smiley I finally got a static one! But no EWCM which I get every month.
I've also been having one sided cramps the last couple days..

So, if I've got my peak this morning does that mean the egg has already been released and I should already have the egg white mucus, or it's about to come? I understand I have 48 hours now from recieving the static smiley.

The surge of LH means you will ovulate in the next 48 hours. It's the surge of LH which triggers the ovulation. It's best to dtd before ovulation and obviously 24 hours afterwards. Definitely aim for as soon as possible as it's better if the sperm is in there waiting. Not everyone gets ewcm and not everyone gets it every month. Unless you are checking at the cervix you could miss it too. Good luck!
