I've been using cheap opks for ages and they seem fine... Am wondering about trying more expensive ones and was looking at clearblue advanced ones. Has anyone tried them? Are they better? It says they identify 4 fertile days...is this true? How do they work? Thanks x

I tried the 4 day monitor and kept getting just the two solid smileys. So I went with the two day one. I like them as it was simple to use. :)

I was using both cheapies and CB last time. I would get flashing smiles that indicate fertile days and solid for when i was ovulating.

There is no harm in trying but they are a bit expensive x

I use the clearblue ones.....I normally start using them on day 15 of my cycle, I get a couple of blank circles, then I'll get 2 or 3 days of flashing smileys and then the solid smiley!! I actually had my solid smiley today so fingers crossed! I like them as it stops you from stressing over the 'is the line dark enough' on the cheapie so! Good luck! xx

the flashing smileys indicate start of fertile window so to increase your chances they advise you start dtd when you first see them :) x
