i thinking about having one tiny glass of cider pear wiv lots of ice i really fancy the taste i not one to drink but i reli fancy one and i feel a little guilty anyone else had a drink? x

Yes I've had a cider :).. I mixed it the odd one with lemonade xx

I've had a few lager n limes through my pregnancy, I personally don't think a little one every now and then is too naughty - sure others will disagree, end of the day it's up to you and what you feel comfortable with :D

I really think you will be fine, As long as it is not a straight glass of vodka.
You might find you're very pissed quickly though! :p

I don't drink so I can't comment on whether I have had a sneaky glass of beer yet.
I detest alcohol.

My friends mum actually drank Guinness throughout her pregnancy (craving) and my friend was born with teeth :D
xxx

Guiness isn't as bad as other alcohol as its veryu very high iniron.... If its not a frequent thing, and its not a high percent cider I'd have a little, maybe a half or something. Alcohol isn't a complete nono in later pregnancy so long as its once in a wh etc....... You have to live with what you feel comfortable with chick....obvs withing reason! X

Saying that tho hun I dunno amyof the reccomendations regarding cider if you get me?!? X

My auntie is a paramedic and told mum to tell me to have a gin as it can start labour off  I probably would have one but I'm on antibiotics. I've craved gin and tonic for months so I got some with my online shop last week for after baby is born.
I'm sure a odd cider maybe with a bit of lemonade will be fine. But like sqeakz said I'm not sure of recommendations if any :)

I have had a couple of lager shandies just recently, but then read a bit of a scary article saying thwres aa risk you could have a still born which has totally put me off, I felt quite guilty while I drank them anyway. I'm going to pack a couple of cans of beer in my over night bag hehe :)

There's that Kopparberg (sp?) non-alcoholic pear cider but I've yet to find it in any of my local supermarkets :(
I've had alcohol free wine but can't manage more than a glass - gone right off it all!

Ooh neither of my local Sainsbury's sell it :(
Is yours a big store? I am constantly surprised by how rubbish London shops actually are! xx

I've still not been able to find the non-alcoholic kopparberg anywhere and I'm desperate to find it!! I went to a BBQ over the weekend and had Becks Blue which is non-alcoholic lager and genuinely could not tell the difference, it's really nice.

Since finding out I was pregnant I've had 3 glasses of wine, 1/2 pint of John Smith's and a lager shandy :) I asked my midwife about it and she said that once your out of tri your ok to have a drink every now and then :)

I've heard nothing but good things about Becks Blue - shame I don't like lager! Although I do love lager shandy so I'll prob get me some and make that!

Considering doing an online shop to see if online Sainsbury's does the cider. It has to exist somewhere! I'd love a fakey cider n black ooh-ahhr!

xx
