I know they dont mix and im trying to think of ways of preventing James pulling it down.

I was thinking of some sort of fence but dotn know what.,,

Anyone got any bright ideas or ways in which they stop their little rascal from causing all sorts of damage to the decs?!

maybe a firegaurd? im considering putting ours ontop of the dinning room table lol
xx

Mine's in between the 2 chairs, so hopefully can't be pulled down. She just removed the baubles as i was putting them on.

Last year we put ours in the corner trapped in by the sofa

I'm hoping after a day or 2 of NO will work this year

im gonna take the wheels of his walker :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

joking he can only go backwards in it anyway

I am so glad my LO isnt mobile yet so i dont think i will have any problems this year

You know we never had a problem - just keep the tinsel off the bottom layers.

Also maybe put some baby friendly decorationss somewhere within reach that it's OK for him to grab??

Seren liked looking at it but it wasn't until she was 2 that she kept taking the decorations off. This year my tree is up the 24th and down the 26th (I have 4 cats too so there is no way I am faffinf around making it look nice lol).

So far the last 2 years Arianna hasnt touched the tree. Last year we found if we let her switch the lights on and make it seem like her "special job" that was enough for her.

We'll soon see if that works this year when she is in her terrible 2's stage!

we're putting ours in the play pen

Ingenious idea!

Ella isn't quite mobile yet, so we are hoping we are safe, but we no longer have space in our living room , so we are getting a smaller one to put on top of a cabinet.

ds was 9 months last Christmas and never really touched our tree. I just put the decorations above here he could reach and told him no a couple of times - after that he was fine. So he may surprise you! I reckon he'll be 10x worse this year though.
