hi all

i was just woundering what you all are getting your parents and pil's as i have no idea and also we are short on money as we now have to children to pay for and our bills always come round christmas time,so when i asked them only one person was helpful and told me what they wanted and that was my mil.

my mil showed me a handbag she wants and i thought ok its from boots so it will not be that much then i looked at the price and is £40 and i though you expect us to buy you a £40 handbag when we have not even got that much money to spend on the kids.

so i need ideas on very cheap presents for them if not they are not getting any presents.

thanks becki.xx

im getting mine a photo calender each.

I downlaoded the tesco photobook creator which is brill, and made a calender out of photo's of my girls. It was about 14 quid for 1, so ive got both sets of parents sorted for under 30 squids!! Huzzah :D

I always get them somthing like this for xmas now as they can be right buggers to buy for, and no matter what we get them its always "oh, you shouldnt spend your money on us.." but you cant go wrong when the pressie is a photo or something. Photo mugs are good to. Can you tell i love getting photos stuck on things??

I have got the same for all my family from Max speillmann (Klinks?) Calendars, Coasters and a jigsaw for my nan. Some places even do handbags with a photo on!

For my Dad I have got him a jumper, a shirt, a ceramic jar filled with liquorise allsorts and he will also get a pic of Arianna and a photo calender

For my MIL, I have got her some PJ's, a dressing gown, slippers, a jacket, some smelly stuff (but some of this will be for her birthday on the 6th Dec, not decided what yet!)

For my FIL, I have a jumper, some hankies, a cermaic jar filled with wine gums

MIL & FIL will also get a pic of Arianna and a photo calender!
