ok all booked at the church and local hotel after. Ordered food and decorations but want to give party bags as everyone is travelling so far for it. What would you include?

also any1 know of any nice shops or websites that have nice christening bits and bobs or ideas

This is where I got my baby shower stuff from, it's great, they do ready filled favours and charms and lots of cutesy things! And delivery was AMAZING! I paid for 2-3day delivery but in the notes I asked for it asap. I ordered it at 1pm and had it within 24 hours!

what are people doing as an after thing? weddings and that you have disco's but not with christenings so do you just hire a room at a pub/hotel and put food on? wont it be a bit quiet? im stuck

My son's Christening was 3 days ago. We went to a chinese buffet after the church. I paid for everybodys food but they bought their own drinks from the bar. It was a lovely day and everybody said how much they had enjoyed themselves.

You could also search ebay for personalised gifts, they have some lovely candles which would make sweet mementos for guests Have a wonderful day, very best wishes

We hired a room, had Christening picture cakes and buffet, and had music and a magician as there were lots of kids there, dancing and laughing, it was great fun, it's a celebration, it can be fun!!
