Christenings!

Iv just been told when you get your baby christened that alot of other peopl who you dont even know can be there! Im gutted its seriously mnaking me think i dont want to get it done as I know it sounds selfish but i dont want people i dont know staring on I just want a small intimate Christening, but now I know that just anyone can turn up im not so sure anymore I really wanted to have it done too

when we got sophie christened there was 2 others on at the same time, i didnt know who they were at the time, but as it turns out sophie goes to play grp with both the girls now, and is very very good friend with one of the little girls, so in that way its nice they all got christened at the same time.
But i do know how u feel, i live in a very small town and i would be gutted if i got alastair christened the same day as someone i really really didnt like

Afaik you can talkj to the preist and try and book the church for your own private christening but not all churches will do it...

is it true that if your not christened you can not be buried in a church grave yard???

Someone told me this the other day and i am not???!!!

I've not been christened but will probably end up being cremated and scattered somewhere. Or I'd like one of those woodland burials where they bury in cardboard and plant a tree over you. Why would you want to be buried in a church yard if you haven't been christened? Are you Christian?

We went to a lovely Christening up in Scotland, and the church was full! Although I'm not Christian it was lovely to see that so many people there were, and they were all prepared to turn up and celebrate new life. There were 3 babies being christened, one of which was our niece

hey hun B was christened In may with a lil girl at first i hated it but it turned out really nice and i still occasionaly meet with her mum and her, the church was also open to others but there was only 4 church goers there
