Child tax credits higher than family element

Anyone know the definition of this. Just trying to cjeck what benefits I can claim .
 
the family element is in with the ctc its not a huge amount think i get about 450, 500 a yr and ive got 2 kids im not sure what its dependant on as i dont work.
