Child benefit frequency question weekly paid people...

I have just checked my bank statement online and it says child benefit £57.80 (backdated 3 weeks this is my first payment). And the paying in date is tomorrow. Does this mean i will be paid every monday? i picked to have it weekly. Also how much is the usual weekly amount? Cheers emma xx

It should be the same day every week, I get mine every 4 weeks and it's always on a Tuesday. For the first child you get £20 per week (it's just gone up from this week I think).

If the first payment is on a Monday then all following payments will also be on a Monday. Unless of course they paid it on Friday but it wont be cleared until tomorrow. But generally.. they will pay you on the day of the week they paid you to begin with. When my son was born 4 years ago, it was paid on a Tuesday and has been paid on a Tuesday ever since!
