Anyone know where I can get some nice, but cheap fish? I'm really in to it at the moment ut it's so bloody expensive! Katie really likes it too and she's such a fussy eater! I've heard the value and basics type stuff is the same fish but the off cutty type bits iykwim? Anone know if that's true?

I really love the little packs of fish and parsley sauce, and the kids LOVE it! :)

Iceland do some great cuts of fish and its very good value.... My lot will not eat salmon usually but they love it from there....give it a try.... And yes the fish in butter and parsley sauce is a great one with my nieces and nephews too....xx

Pollack is good and much cheaper - you should be able to get it frozen :)

I go to costco, and by the big size fish and then cut it into portions and freeze it. You do have to keep an eye on the prices in case the price is high sometime, but if not it works out a lot cheaper.

go to the supermarket and see if they've got anything that has to be eaten that night. We had a gorgeous leg of lamb the other day cos we popped to the supermarket. It was use by the next day so it was over half price :)
