Changing nappies

Just wondered if people change nappies in the night or leave them? Or do you just change if there's been a poop?

I have to change in the night otherwise she'd drown in her own wee! Hoping when she's big enough to move on to the next size nappies (3) this may help the sleeping through the night issue as they'll hold more.

My lo id nearly 10 week on size 3s and still have to change in the night

Harry's in size 3s and we don't have leaks so I guess they're holding the wee in

For some reason I feel guilty if I don't change him. But then the rational part of my head says when he *eventually* sleeps through it wouldn't be getting changed

Only if there is poo! We changed her at every feed when she was a few weeks old, but realized it woke her up and it took so much longer to settle her. Xx

only if shes pooed but if she drank a lot during the night i think id have to change her then. i guess it depends on how often your lo wakes to feed and how much they drink/wee. alyssa just about manages to go from 9pm - 7am without a nappy change but sometimes it is rather full lol. those are the nights when she wakes tho. when she sleeps thru its not as full

He normally goes from between 10 or 11 til around 3 then he'll wake around 6

Think I'll go with leaving him as he's doesn't normally poo at night!

Only when he poos - which is not often, but when it happens, there's a poo extravaganza! Last night he did a few while he was feeding, I thought, nah , he won't do any more, let's change him, and 3 nappies later, his bum was like a machine gun, still going!

I change at every feed. Tends to distract him while his bottle is cooling lol. I wouldn't wake him up to change him though x

My charming little lady hates having a soggy nappy of any degree but is happily sits in a dirty nappy!!!!

I used to change max at every feed coz I felt bad not doing it! But now I only do it when he's poo'd during the niight, sometimes if it feels fuller (of wee) than normal I will change at a night feed though xxx
