Changing Milk......?

We are gonna start Riley on SMA White soon (the thicker stuff) cos he's still feeding 3oz every 2 hours and not much better at night Poor wee man is knackered!!

Should we gradually move him onto it, like 1 bottle a day, or just make a clean break from the gold over to white?

Will he only take 3oz per feed? Because usually it's recommended to change over to hungry baby milk if they're draining a full bottle and then demanding more shortly afterwards.

Haven't had to change from SMA gold (she eventually started taking more) though so not sure what would be the best plan of action though sorry

He was draining full 7oz bottles for weeks, but the past few days he's been taking half the milk, in half the time IYKWIM?(like 3 oz evry 2hrs instead of 7oz in 4hrs like he used to) I think it's his jabs that have knocked his feeding to pot

We are thinking about switching over so he can get a decent rest once in a while! Poor wee guy!

Could possibly be a growth spurt too... they have one around 12 weeks. Fingers crossed it works though if you decide to change

Thanks!! Think we will try slowly integrating the white, if he doesn't like it, the wee fusspot will have to stick with SMA Gold lol
