Just a curiosity post, was interested to see what changes people noticed in their CM after ov on the lead up to a BFP, in comparison to normal cycles? X

Mine was definitely different, it was more of a creamy cloudy consistency.

I dont generally get much cm really, but during ovulation I get definite ewcm, so on 6dpo when i saw a creamy splodge, literally that was all it was, i was like 'ooo this is new, i havent had this before'...

How many dpo are you now? Have you got some are unusual cm atm?x

I've had the white cloudy CM on DPO2 and today DPO3.

I read online that 24 hours after ovulation, white CM is usually an indication of conception. Obviously though this doesn't mean you will get BFP, as that's probably the easier part off ttc journey, it's the egg implanting that will determine outcome, I read that 50% of eggs fail to do this.

When I got my BFP with my daughter I noted that I had the white CM at 1 and 4 DPO. Last cycle I noted it at what would have been 1DPO.

When I ttc my daughter 6-7 years ago, I never really got much CM and defo no EWCM, this time round ttc, I've noticed a big difference, had EWCM at ov time. Not sure if that's because of the Pregnacare I'm taking or because I've already had a child.

ooooo it sounds like this could be a very good sign <3 you definitely covered all the bases, so lets hope the egg and sperm take a fancy to eachother :dust:

Hey,

I've just had a look back through my ff chart and I've noted creamy cm at 7 and 8dpo... Which must have set me thinking as I tested at 9dpo and got my first positive :)

I don't really get a lot of cm, but I had a little rummage last night and noticed my cm was creamy/sticky. TMI also cottage cheese type look about it!! Lmao

Lord knows if that means anything, I don't normally notice cm.

Xxx

I can't remember the details, but definitely noticed a change about a week after ovulation. It was the first thing that made me think this was different than normal!

Hopefully this will be your lucky month! When are you planning on testing?

Thank you, I reckon I'll start testing in 5 days time and see what happens x

You should get creamy CM shortly after ovulation, regardless of conception. It might not make it to your knickers, but that's your clear sign that ovulation has happened.

For me, when I got my BFP I noticed no change in CM until about 6dpo where I started getting EWCM for a day or two again. CM is probably the most notoriously unreliable pregnancy symptom so don't put too much faith in it.

Thanks WinterWolf, just have to wait for testing, 7DPO today! X

Thanks ladies, might start testing in 2 or 3 days time. X
