CBFM help

Hi ladies,

Need help. A very good friend just kindly gave me her cbfm and sent me instructions and everything but being a complete dim wit I'm still confused! Now she has buggered off and abandoned me for the weekend

Anyway, the cycle days only go up to cd 5 when you set it. Unfortunately my pee sticks arrived late and tmrw I'll be cd7. Gather it's too late to use it this cycle now, but wanted to check. Does anyone know?

If it is, I'll just pee on the sticks and use as OPKs for the month.

Yeah your too late as on day 6 you needed to start the peeing on a stick! Probably best to wait till next month!

Hey, just checking you know that as its someone elses you need to completely reset it as it will have your friends cycle recorded. You have to take the batteries out and press buttons and put a stick in. The instructions are in the book. Also for the first month it is getting to know your cycle so for me I was high from like cd7 to cd 23. Second month totally right got my peak done the bd and got my bfp after 9 months just having sex! I really like it. You can start it up to day 5 of your cycle. (if you already know all this sorry just thought Id let u know)

Oh and Polly on ebay and Amazon the monitor and sticks are not half as expensive as the shops. Still quite dear though but just incase it helps you!

What happened to next day delivery? lol

I didn't know it would only go upto cd 5, but if that the case then i'd just do as you thought and just pee on the sticks - or maybe even just stick to some cheapos for this cycle if you still have some.

I do still think the cbfm sticks are fab without the monitor though, once you know how consistant the result is

I got next day sticks and went to post office in case didn't fit thru door straight from work, but was at another post office closed. Damn expensive rubbish next day!!

Hey hun, yep you will need to wait til your next cycle.
Once you get your AF you start using it the following morning if your AF started during the day but it explains that in teh manual anyway.
I got low readings up until day 12 I think and then it went to high. It stayed high until I ov'd so I got my peak reading on cd25.
Worked for me this month as I was also using the cheapies at the same time... my cheapie was positive on the friday night so bd'd then, my monitor the next morning went to peak but couldnt bd that day so bd'd the following day. Hey presto, got a bfp about 11 days later!
Really hope it works for you hun when you start using it
