I think it has been over a week since i have had a worry about something so i was doing well until one of my cats jumped off my tummy again, right where the littleman's head is. I am worried incase she caused a bleed or anything cause i havent had my anti d or anything yet.

:? :(

Anyone know if this would happen?

hmm im not sure, i need that injection too when i get nocks or bumps but non so far..touch wood. maybe u shud get into contact with ur midwife just to be sure..im sure everythings fine hun:)x

Thanks mummytobee. I always ask on here before i speak to the midwife now cause they're not usually very helpful but i got a call back within 10 mins!! and..................................... It was my midwife!!! she was actually working for as far as i am aware the first time since Christmas!!!!

Anyway she said that it is only really heavy bangs and vaginal bleeding that they give Anti D's for before the normal time to have them. So hopefully he is ok in there.

there we go then:) its best to check on every lil thing tho isnt it! :) xx

I'm sure thats true as up until recently you only the got the one when you gave birth anyway!

Hi,

I'm glad that your mw reassured you.

But for future reference, it is only when you have a really heavy bang/knock, or something sharp digs in a lot that you will need to worry. A cat jumping off you will not do anything to you or the baby. Baby is very well cushioned by the amniotic fluid.

This is baby no.4 for me, and with this and each of my 2 subsequent pregnancies I have always had a litttle one to look after - I have 3 kids aged 4 and under, and they are always climbing/jumping on me. I would only worry if I got a really sharp knock, or if they landed on my bump full on.

Try not to worry, I would think in a normal situation, you would only get such a knock if you fell down the stairs or had a similar sort of accident.
