Right lol so for boys names we are still drawing a blank...

We LOVE the name Caspian as think it's such a cool name for a grown man... Just not sure if we can name a baby that lol

What's general consensus in here? Lol

I've only heard of it because of the Chronicles on Narnia - Prince Caspian!

I think it would suit both a baby and a man......and could be shortened to Casper.........

There are certainly more unique names out there..Just watched 'say yes to the dress' & there was a lady called Queen Precious-Gem Earth (or something like that) so this is quite mild compared!

Its reminds me of Casper which I quite like too.. xx

I like it. It's a good strong name. Put with your surname it could be a high powered business man or solicitor.

Haha I agree, Coz! I love it as a grown mans name. Liam's concern is how people will react to a baby with that name or a child at school. I understand the concern but I'm not as bothered by people's opinions as he seems to be!

Glad you all seem to like it though. Casper is a gorgeous name but obviously for people agent 20+ there will always be the ghost association haha Liam doesn't like the thought of abbreviating or nicknaming Caspian to Casper and I'm not sure it would happen automatically even though the names are similar. More likely be shortened to Caspey or Cass/Caz. I like that there are options for when the kid is older to be able to choose what he would like to be called

How funny, that was my OHs second name suggestion for this baby! I'd never even considered it as a name because of narnia but I love it! I said no to OH though because he works in oil and gas offshore and did loads of work in the Caspian Sea a few years ago so it felt weird for me using it as a baby name!

As far as nicknames go I doubt people would use Casper because it's more a name in it's own right, it would probably be Cas, which I like for a man. All in all a good name I think!
