just wondered if anyone else just carries on with life as normal.

im 34 weeks and still as active, still working full time for another 3 weeks, driving kids about, sorting my horses out although have not ridden for a couple of weeks.

ive had very little aches and pains apart from the expected braxton hick and bit of pelvic pain bit of SPD but i just tend to get on with it even to the extent my other half forgets im pregnant!!!

im hoping i feel this good once LO arrives lol

I was exactly the same at your stage - I worked full time until a week ago, i'm 38 weeks now & still do the school run & most around the house as OH works.

:)

Yeah def carrying on as normal but sometimes my bump gets so tight that I have to stop what I am doing. Still working full time and walking dogs daily and seeing friends, cleaning house etc at weekends. Good to be active now for when the baby arrives? Gives us more energy to cope with their arrival?

My boss made a comment about how I get on with it a couple of days a go. I know I'm no where near you guys but hoping to save up all the brownie points for when I need a day off ;)

Yep, bit behind you but we're dairy farmers and it's business as usual at home and on the farm :) likewise, going to continue as long as possible. Actually just after 5 am here now and heading down to cow shed for first milking of the day, still doing kindergarten run, gymboree and swimming with the nearly 3 year old too... Think it's good to keep as active as possible, after all, we're not 'sick', we're pregnant:)

its supposed to be better for your labour if your active , makes it quicker x x get them walking boots out x x

I've carried on as normal, ie walking wherever I want, working, taking the bins out etc but I wasn't exactly super-active before

I've slowed down this week purely because of really bad pains last weekend and I didn't want to push it too hard and have the pains again. I plan to get back to my normal routine next week though. I'm on my feet all day at work and walk home which takes 40 minutes up and down hill. I want to keep as active as I can for as long as I can x

In carrying on as normal at the mo. I finish work in 3 weeks but thats cos I commute on train and tube 2 hours each way everyday and with the bad weather coning soon, Im not risking a fall.
Still clean house from top to bottom each weekend and still do bits around my MIL house as she lives on her own and has dementia.
We board a guidedog who we take for a long walk on both sat and sun.
Once I finish work Im goin to take up swimming and walk to and around the park each day :)

Yep, I am. I'm still working two jobs (everyday 9-3pm and the other Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8-10pm) and intend to right up until the birth. Still doing all the school runs and all the after school activities. And I still do all the housework and washing etc.

Oh yeah I meant to say I still do all housework single-handed

The one thing I won't do is take the bins out! After the morning sickness I had I can't bring myself!

You must be shattered!!

Dont know how you do it, i'm struggling with only the housework & school run

:)

yep, I worked until I was 36 weeks (could probably work another couple of weeks, but was too late to rearrange maternity leave), still do many walks when I can, and am even starting taking car driving lessons in a week lol...

I would hate just to sit at home and do nothing for too long!

I thought you weren't allowed to drive in the last couple weeks of pregnancy :oooo: Not sure i'm not a driver myself so I wouldn't know, but i'm sure a friend said she wasn't allowed to use her car from 38 weeks.
