Have been suffering from this for a number of weeks now and also have Tendonitus in my left wrist from swimming and now I also have it in my right wrist. No idea how I now have it in my right but its a bloody pain....literally.

Anyway I didn't want to have a good old moan I just wanted to know if anyone who suffers from Carpal Tunnel has spoke to their midwife about it and what has been advised/recommended if anything?

I'm seeing mine in Wednesday so I'm going to mention is but wondered what had been advised to others.

the advise was Nothing actually. she only said that this is normal during pregnancy especially that i have put on weight and all of this should ease off and go completely after birth.
I know how u feel i suffer too hope u feel better soon

Same as Maldives, the only advice I got was that it's normal in pregnancy and it should disappear afterwards. Mine is nowhere near as painful as yours sounds though

The physiotherapist who ran a course on "massage and positions for labour" as part of our antenatal courses recommended that you get a splint for your wrist to wear if it becomes painful? I would mention that to your GP / midwife because apparently they're easy to fit and they can make a huge difference.

I hope you feel better soon
