me and my dad are doing a car boot at the weekend and i was just wondering, can i sell like clothes and B's old toys etc and mayb a buggy??? also wot happens do people bid on things or do like put a price on them iv never done one or been to one before lol how sad am i

Sell anything and usually price them first, people generally offer less so bear that in mind

you can sell almost anything there, but i wouldn't price the baby clothes too high becuase no one will buy them, some times you are better off putting clothes as one big lot on ebay.

People will barter with you on prices, get there early, and make sure you watch people when you arrive - we did one and when we got there ever one started opening our doors and our boot - they were like vultures!! dad shouted at them to get the fook out of our car and come back when we were ready, people will walk off without paying.

Or just have someone on look out!!

But it is fun!!

By the way if they say the carboot starts at 9am make sure you get there for 7a, becuase some people wil arrive at 5am and the boot will be in full swing!! take a load of change too!

but you just put all ya bits out some will will say how much for that. u tell them they might say will you take...... and you say yes or no... seel what you like

We should really do one, got so much stuff to clear out and I hate just throwing things away when you make a few bob instead.

I've started going to them to get Ella some cheapy toys, you can pick up V-Tech stuff for pennies! With a good scrub and wash off with Milton it's all fine and is saving us a bundle

My parents are proper carbooters lol, when they go they are there for 6am they go to the studley one its massive, i love it!!

kris hates it and moans the whole way round "why do you want to buy other peoples junk, bla bla bla

when i go with my mum we get there for 8.30am when i go with my grandad im there for 5.30 am. before the carbooters

studley is huge though my mum made me walk the lot 1 week before i gave birth it took 5hrs
