hi ya, i was just wondering wot type of fake tan u guys used? i want a good one as i am very pale and would like a tan for B's christening

Have you used it before, if not I would suggest either practsing loads or getting one done at a salon. They aren't too expensive and you know it will be done properly and you won't wake up with streaks on the mornin of the christening.

Treat yourself hun, you deserve it. If you are going to do one at home get one for lighter skins as you have the same type of skin as me, and if it comes out too dark you will look odd. The spray ones are good, but I would recommend a mousse

My friend recommended the Jjohnsons or Dove holiday skin ones as you can build them up. St Tropez do a great mousse but it is pricey. Remember to exfoliate and moisturise before x

I use St.Tropez.(I use the cream one) It's really good for not streaking.

It is quite expensive though, so if it's just a one off I'd have one done at a salon.

Why don't you try one of those creams where it brings up your tan naturally johnsons and nivera do them but i don't know how long it takes to work

a few girls at work use fake bake. I think you can get it in bodycare.

Fake bake is excellent and its cheaper to buy it off the net.

Hi Sarah

I like Fake Bake and St Tropez mousse, if you haven't used them before I'd say go for St Tropez as I agree with Sam, you don't usually get streaks.

Make sure you exfoliate and moisturise really well before you put the tan on and I'd say wear gloves - even marigolds will do to save your hands from getting too stained, then when you're ready to do your hands either put it on cotton wool and smear over or else put it on the back of one hand and rub in using the back of your other hand.

Lol my auntie had some of the johnsons one and my uncle had really itchy skin (he's a carpenter) and he didn't read the bottle properly and put it all over his arms but didn't wash it off his hands as he thought it was just moisturiser he had lovely brown hands and arms but white everywhere else lol, my auntie thought he had jaundice at first and cos he's got a problem with his blood was worried sick it took a couple of hours for them to realise what he'd done lol. the johnsons stuff is good though, it's not too expensive either it's in a yellow bottle and you can get it from chemists or supermarkets.

I would have a spray tan Sarah, pay someone to do it ....I'd hate for you to go all streaky on the big day!

Victoria Beckham uses Heavenly Bodies, and lots of salons etc use that. Expect to pay about20- 30 quid.
