Car Allowance

Hi,
Does anyone know where you stand regarding car allowance payments when on maternity leave? My allowance is listed seperately on my pay slip, and in my contract is not listed under the salary section but is listed with the benefits.

I think you’ll have to check with your HR dept for how your employers deal with it. I think it should be included for at least some period in your SMP. It depends on what they count as remuneration as to whether you get it for any additional time x
