Candle making

Does anyone here make candles?

I'm thinking about making the candles for our wedding table pieces, since I am making the invitations On a make things mission

I'm looking for some information and what to do really

we want black church candles but they don't seem so easy to find so I thought I'd try to make them

I might be able to help...
I'm sure OH's mum has some candle making stuff, probably some supplies, some wax (not sure about black) but i know OH has a few books on candle making... i can get him to dig them out for you...

i don't think it's that complicated, i know our local craft shop sell wax ad moulds...

If you buy the black candles you can melt it down and make ice candles, I used to make them they were really pretty the pic on this site doesnt do them justice.
