Can I put baked beans in Chilli?

Just gone out and got everything I need to make chilli for tea and forgot the kidneybeans!!!! Was thinking maybe baked beans would be okay instead....obviously it would be different to kidneys but would it be alright or should I go get some Kidneys?

I use chilli beans instead of kidney beans. Same thing but they are spicy

i put baked beans, kidney beans and sweetcorn in mine, yuuuuuuuuuuum!!

I put all of those in my chilli too (and sometimes I use a can of mixed beans so it is kidney plus others like pinto beans - can't remember what exactly now! )

It's a great way of getting extra fibre and veg in (my OH is awful with veg) and also bulks it out which is great for money saving! I don't think my OH would eat it without sweetcorn in now!
